Kurban Bayrami in Japan

Today is one of the two Islamic Holidays. It is called in turkish "Kurban Bayrami." It has roots of our Prophet Hz. Abraham (A.S.). He was ordered sacrifice his son. As he was really doing sacrificing Allah(CC) sent him a sheep instead. So every year all moslems which can handle must sacrifice a sheep (can be cow or camel or goat instead). It is also the time when moslems must do their Pilgrimage to Mecca at least one time in life (only who are elligible means rich enough and no other responsibilities).

I wish for all of you Happy Kurban.

2006 yili acilarimizla, sevinclerimizle geride kalacak.
2007 daha fazla umut, daha fazla sevinc, daha fazla mutluluk getirsin. Yasaminizda güzel yillar, mutlu yarinlar, gercek dostluklar hep sizinle olsun. Yeni yiliniz size ve tüm sevdiklerinize saglik, mutluluk, nese, basari, bolca para, sevgi ve huzur getirmesini dileriz.
Mutlu Yillar!

Allah'a emanet olun

Sevgi ve Saygilar ile

Krispy Kreme in Japan

Friday, December 15. 2006, at 10 am, Japan will have it's first Krispy Kreme.

The store is in Shinjuku.

When, I was living in Seattle, the Krispy Kreme opened it's first stores in that area couple years ago. I waited on the line for at least 2 hours under rain to go to the store in the first day. (crazy...)

But what should I do. I really love their original glazed. I heard it will be around 120 150 yen, which is little bit expensive to compare american prices but here is Japan.

Anyway, I am lloking forward to eat again Donuts from Krispy Kreme. I will be there Friday at 10 am.
